How are our Youth Power Convenings created?
Each of our Youth Power Convenings are co-created by young people, for young people. For each convening, there is always a theme in order to ground the activities and discussion. Our youth power convenings are hybrid, having both an online and in-person option to make it accessible for all young people.

Why Youth Power Convenings?
There aren't many accessible spaces for young people to fully express themselves and build community with other youth across the city and beyond, so we created Youth Power Convenings in order to create that space for youth. Young people are important -- their stories, identities, and unique backgrounds make them special, and we want to emphasize this through our Youth Power Convenings.
We need Youth Power Convenings to bring together young people most impacted by inequity in order to foster a sense of belonging, feel safe, and build community.
