About this Opportunity
What is the Camelback Ventures Youth Leadership Award?
Camelback Ventures increases access to opportunity for entrepreneurs of color and women by investing in their ventures and leadership while advocating for fairness in their funding. One way we do this is through our Fellowship - a 16-week long program that offers capital, coaching, and community to 8-12 entrepreneurs with ventures in the education and technology fields.
This year we are excited to announce a new program, the Youth Leadership Award (YLA) - $500 in funding to entrepreneurs who are at an early stage and whose venture supports youth leadership. We want to recognize and encourage these ideas.
As an organization committed to equity in education and building generational wealth for communities of color, we know young people will be impacted by the entrepreneurs we support. We believe that young people should be involved in this decision making process. This funding opportunity will be primarily visioned and led by young people in order to center their voices.
Youth Power Coalition is about building an intergenerational movement for youth-led collective impact. YPC has partnered with Camelback Ventures to launch this program.
